you need an air fryer

If you follow me on Instagram, you’d know that I am obsessed with the air fryer. I often get questions about which one I have and if I love it, so I thought I’d jot down the major points here. I’ve never outwardly said that I’m obsessed with it until now, but I am seriously reliant on this thing for easy weeknight cooking and is a great staple for affordable healthy cooking so just consider it!!! My husband and I lived in a studio apartment for almost two years and I would do anything to avoid turning on the oven. It’d heat up my whole apartment and bedroom basically…so it felt gross, you know?

With an air fryer, I like to say it’s for quick roasted veggies but really is for anything and everything. I received one for my wedding and used it to death. Literally, the button fell off. After a few weeks of research and review readin, I settled on the Instant Vortex 6 quart 4-n-1 and have been in love ever since!

my specs I was looking for in my research:

  • easy to clean
  • big basket
  • reheat feature lol (burritos n wings, duh)

I read a lot of Amazon reviews and also wasn’t trying to spend more than $100 because I truly don’t think you need to with any air fryer or pressure cooker. The reheat feature on the Instant Vortex is COOL. And great for when you’re lazy and heating up leftovers!

I use my air fryer for:

  • roasted crispy veggies in 10 minutes or less
  • salmon
  • meatballs
  • steak
  • potatoes/frozen french fries
  • reheating leftover burritos, pizza, wings, whateva

Is there something I’m missing? What do you make in yours? Do you have one?
