Alfalfa is a fast casual chain that I thought was vegan, until my neighbor got me one of the bacon breakfast burritos. “I like it because it comes with two sauces,” she said lol. Which I appreciate and agree – two salsas and the tortilla is gluten-free? Also delicious and scrumptious? Highly recommend!!

Once I looked more into it, I realized that this spot that I stumbled on in Santa Monica started out at a farmer’s market in New Jersey. Their slogan – real food that inspires joy. Sign me up.
