diy brow & lash serum

I started making my own brow serum during the pandemic. These are going to be stories we tell our kids for many years… the things we did during the lockdown to pass the time or get creative when things were out! I wasn’t sure if this would work as well as GrandeLash, a serum I had used in the past but thought was expensive and made my eyelids itchy sometimes, but why not? This is more natural and more affordable.

I ordered this pack of empty mascara tubes on Amazon as well as organic cold pressed castor oil and you’re almost there! These would be fun little gifts to make for a girlfriend!

Fill the mascara tubes 3/4 to the way full with castor oil – both products should come with a funnel and a dropper to make it easy! I add in 2-3 drops of cedarwood essential oil. Cedarwood helps with hair growth/shine and has a great cabiny/comforting aroma. You could just do the castor oil on it’s own – that’s the main ingredient.

If you make these let me know! I brush the oil through my brows after I finish my night time skincare before going to bed. The oil doesn’t bother my eyes or my lashes since I put it on right before I go to sleep!

If you’re unsure, start with brows and see how that goes! I have seen such a difference in my brows especially and would say that I have done it 3-5 times a week (whenever I remember which isn’t always lol) for a few weeks. Let me know if you try!
