my favorite protein powders

One of my main priorities with fueling my body is blood sugar balance. To do this, most meals and snacks should have a balance of protein, fiber, fat, and carbs. One of the ways I’ve been able to consistently hit my protein goals is through a daily smoothie using protein powder. I do also use it to cook (pancakes) or my favorite use, in the ninja creami to make homemade ice cream.

A lot of protein powders on the market have filler, which especially if this is something I’m having every day, I want to be sure that I know where and what it’s made with. I’ve done a lot of research and personal testing!

These are the protein powders I rely on and use almost every day:

form nutrition

This is the best flavor/taste of protein powder I’ve ever had. It includes a mix of a bunch of plant based proteins (it’s vegan) as well as digestive enzymes packing 30g per serving. Form is a certified B corp and uses 100% compostable packaging which I also love!

paleovalley bone broth protein

This is a Boulder, Colorado based company that uses 100% grass fed and finished beef bones and filtered water that tests for over 40 pesticides. I love that I can have a vanilla/chocolate flavored way to drink bone broth. I use it in my cooking because it’s so good for you but to add it to my ninja creami/evening sweet treat is great too! The vanilla tastes like the best soft serve you’ve ever had and the chocolate is like a Wendy’s frosty. trust me. Use this link for 15% off!

truvani

This is an honorable mention because I do love this protein powder (especially in the chai and banana flavors). I reach more for the other two but love it when this is available as well. Minimal ingredients, sweetened without stevia and gums, and a great taste.
