this is a recipe for the girlies who like a lil fall treat in their lives, but nothing too sweet. This is how I’ve been making my iced pumpkin matcha lattes at home without all the extra sugar!

In case you do better with video, here is a step tutorial.

Important note: the proper tools do make a difference. This recipe uses a bamboo whisk, sifter, and ceremonial bowl all found in this set that I picked up on Amazon.

  1. prepare the matcha: in a bowl, sift the matcha powder to break up any clumps.
  2. whisk: add the hot water to the matcha powder. using a bamboo whisk, vigorously whisk the matcha in a M motion until its well dissolved and frothy.
  3. sweeten to taste: add vanilla cream stevia, pumpkin pie spice, and any other sweetener. whisk again to combine.
  4. prepare the latte: fill a glass with ice. pour the milk over the ice, then the matcha shot.
  5. serve: grab a straw and stir well, serve immediately. garnish with extra ice!
