the soup I make to feel better

On those days my body is asking for something easy and nourishing, I turn to this soup. It’s especially great with bone broth and roasted chicken, but as a vegetarian option I would add white beans to keep it balanced with protein.

Unfortunately I can’t take credit for this recipe – it’s originally from Wishbone Kitchen – but it is such a constant in my life I had to share it with you. It’s the kind of soup that feels like a warm hug from the inside out and I just made a batch to share with my neighbors.

PS — double this to freeze half. It’s WORTH IT!
